I am wondering if antibiotics, penicillin in particular, can have an impact on the arrival of your period? My reason for asking is because I am currently 14 days late and the week before my period was expected I was taking penicillin for the entire week to rid myself of a tooth infection. I am not pregnant and have an appointment with a doctor for Friday but in the meantime this occured to me and I was curious if this could be a factor in my period not yet arriving?
