Allergie exasberated by mentral cycle

For the last 5 months I've experience a resistance to all my allergy medication the week befor and the week of my period. I begin coughing and sneezing violently only at nights and as my period gets closer it run's it course all day. I go to an allergist and get shots every week and I take Allegra D, Singular, Advair, provental inhaler, Astelin nasal spray, rhinocort, sarafem and blood pressure medication. My pulmonogist said there is nothing he can do, even if they stop my period my body will still go through the cycle and I will still have this problem. I am not sure if I should believe him. But my last resort is to see an acupuncturist.
