Pregnancy on Ortho Tri-cyclen LoFrom: Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Sep 2003 21:31:49 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on birth control for about 2 years now. I took Ortho cyclen for a long time and about 5 months ago switched to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I never skip periods however I did not take my placebo pills this past month,. I am about 7 pills into the new pack and I'm having heavy bleeding, a lot like I was having my period, complete with cramps. In two weeks I should be taking my placebo pills, however I'm going home and would like to skip again. What are my chances of getting pregnant if I skip and just continue taking the regular hormone pills? also will I spot bleed again? thanks for your help
