Birth control for menstrual regulation

Hi, I'm about to use Necon 1/35 to regulate my periods becasue they come about every 2 months.

The instructions say to take it after the start of your next period, but I started my period about a week and a half ago, and I don't particularly want to wait that long to begin taking pills.

My question is when should I start the pills?
