leaking breasts, could it be something other than galactorrhea? From: Jenni (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 31 Aug 2003 16:13:32 -0500 (CDT)
I am 23, I have 2 children 2 and 4. Ever since I have had children I have been leaking milk (or what seems to be milk) from my breasts. I have seen the other post on this forum dealing with a similar issue but she was a virgin, and I have 2 children. I can squrt this milk almost across the room. I am not trying to be humerous, but I am trying to give an example of how much I can actually express when I squeeze them. Could this be related to having had children? Is this normal in my situation? Or could it be Galactorrhea? Or, could it be something else. It would be great if you could tell me the possibilities so I can research them myself online and see if i can relate to any of the symptoms that I learn about. I am a single mom that gets no child support. I have a lot of doctor bills for my children and I cant afford to see the gyno. Any info you can give me would be so very greatly appreciated. As a side note, I was given an mri when I was pregnant with my second child and they said that I may have a tumor or an annurism. I just now read that galactorria could be caused by a tumor. Is it a pretty sure thing that it is galactorria? Thanks, Jenni
