Ingrown hair turns into wound

This may seem weird but I need some help because I'm a little scared!

I'm 15 years old and have never been sexually active!

Not to long ago i noticed what i thought to be an ingrown hair on my vagina. it was swollen and very tender. not long after the hair around and on the bump began to fall off. Later on it had pus in it, which i squeezed out. I thought that it was healing because it just turned into a little pink bump. But now i just realized that it has popped? and look like a open wound. Seeing how i have never been sexually active- i know that its not warts; unless you can get warts from public bathrooms?! The bump is very painful and i'm just afraid for what it is. please help!!!
