I don’t even think I'm sure what it is...I had a 13mm polyp removed and a d/c. my doc told me that the bleeding would subside after a few days (her words 5-7) its now been 11 days and the bleeding hasn't stopped. The blood doesn’t smell like my period does. It smells a lot more like metal and the blood is more like an open wound then like the blood I get with my cycle. Normally its darker red and thick like when you give blood but now it is more like something is cut and bleeding out. Oh FYI I’m a 17yo virgin. I have been on many forms of birth control all to stop the bleeding, which was unknowingly caused by this polyp. If someone has any info advice experience on this topic email me or post.
