help!From: anonoymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Aug 2003 07:33:37 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 18 and have just stated taking orthi-tri-cylcen LOW- about 1 month ago. I just started a new pill pack sun. aug 24...I'm having SEVERE MOOD SWINGS... I had this problem before prior to the pill but not this severe...My doc told me earlier to take 200mg of calcium a day for this but it is not helping and I don't see the relevance of taking calcium for mood swings...I take my pills at 10 p.m. every night and I have been waking up extremely depressed this fades away and I go back and forth from being happy to extremely aggravated and just horrid to be around....I don't know what to do!! I've never been on any bcp's prior to this and I guess my body is adjusting but these mood swings are so bad I can't deal w/ it I can't control it...Any suggestions????
