Im not a doctor, but I think your mum is right. They would have to explore internally....say with a laparoscopy into the abdomen to see if it is really endo. Last month may just be a one off....so why not relax and just see what happens in your next couple of periods. If you still have the problem go back to the doc.

I would suspect that he would not investigate for endo after just one strange period.....perhaps that's why he said what he said. Shame he didn't reassure you though.
