well i myself had an abortion too, 5 days ago. i thought it was going to be painful afterwards too but i hardly felt any pain. though i was a bit farther along than you, the procedure itself was only 5 minutes. little blood came out. i'm not sure how long i was left sleeping but i imagine it wasn't for long. i was just a bit dizzy but that only lasted for 15 minutes and after that i was basically back to normal. i'm not sure what to tell you about periods because i havent gotten mine yet. they say you should be able to get it 4 weeks after the operation. but you should go back for your follow up and see what they tell you and just make sure you're taking the medications that prevent infections but if you do have any other questions your best bet would be to call the doctor because they're the one's that can give you accurate answers or you can just ask some of your questions here and maybe people like me who have been in your place can help you out
