Bupropion is an older AD, structure unrelated to tricyclics. It may be teratogenic in pregnant women. One report in the literature indicates that it probably accumulates in milk although the absolute dose transferred appears minimal. However, the infant in the study was only BFed twice a day, It's an L3. Plenty of mothers take antidepressants and still nurse.
