Here is what Hales says (I dont have the book myself, found the info elsewhere)

Hale says...

Bupropion is an older AD, structure unrelated to tricyclics. It may be teratogenic in pregnant women. One report in the literature indicates that it probably accumulates in milk although the absolute dose transferred appears minimal. However, the infant in the study was only BFed twice a day,

It's an L3.

And you are right, you should stay on the antidepressants if you are depressed...and breastfeeding can help with the depression. Plenty of mothers take antidepressants and still nurse.
