Your mind is one of your sex organs, so thinking about sex can make you aroused in your genital area,.... just as thinking about a man who you find very attractive. When you get aroused you will notice "sensations" in the vaginal area. I must admit I do get a warm feeling sometimes when thinking about sex and I also find that I get a throbbing sensation. Its all very normal and just my body's way of letting me know that I fancy some sex.

I would think it highly unlikely that anything is wrong with you. It may just be that these sensations feel wierd and because you don't know what they are it is frightening you and making you feel uncomfortable. Try to relax and just enjoy them.
