Different people react differently to the same set of circumstances. I'm sorry for your pain and for your regret. That does not mean she will react the same way you have. You are right that nobody can predict how she will feel 10 or 20 years from now, she may be very comfortable with the decision. She is the only person that can decide what is right for her.
