HELP!! muscle spasms and twitching is driving me insaneFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 13 Aug 2003 17:38:56 -0500 (CDT)
Hello i am 22 years old and i have been having MAJOR knee pains and general leg pain as far back as i can recall. I was told it was growing pains a couple of times but i just dont belive it. The pain interepts my daily life and makes it almost impossible to have a career. Heres the symptoms I have a tingley sensation in my legs when i sit down or sit on the floor, my knees hurt and they have hard "deposits" on them, sometimes when i walk it feels as if my knee cap is going to come out the back of my knee bend.I often trip because my knee cap slips back to the back of my knee bend. Lately i have been having muscle spasm (NOT CHARLIE HORSES) in my legs, arms, and twitching in these places plus my shoulders. I have noticed the twitching gets really bad when i lay down at night and it is feelable if another person touches the part of me that is twitching. I have a thyroid diease but other than that im in good health. I am over weight but i also am 5'11 so my body frame is tall and i am a big sized girl,I would like some help if anyone recongnizes this as something please reply. THANK YOU ALL ~~~~ ANGELA
