Oh my gosh, if you find anything out, please let me know, because this happened to me too, and every period i have had since then has been really strange. I'm not on any sort of BC or anything, so i dont think that plays a major role. But i know what you are talking about. It is incredibly fleshy, not like a blood clot AT ALL!
