Re: Am I Pregnant?

Was it 8 days counting from the first day of your period? If so, then it is unlikely you are pregnant with a 29-32 day cycle (in which you would likely ovulate around days 15-19, depending on the length of that cycle). Keep in mind, since your cycle varies I would consider yourself fertile from days 10-20, since you won't know your cycle length until you get your period. Generally speaking, you ovulate about 14 days before your next period. You can get pregnant from having sex up to 5 days before ovulation. I know, it happened to me. You can get pregnant if you don't clean his penis after the first time or even if it is AROUND your vagina.

IF, however, you are counting 8 days from the last day of your period, you could very well be pregnant.

I personally don't think your chances are 50%, however. A normal, fertile couple has only about a 34% chance of conception every month if you have sex around ovulation.
