Previous message: Elizabeth: "Mensturation cycle" I am in my early 20's. Over the last year or so, and especially the last 5 months, my hair has become very very thin. I always had thick hair. I have also excess body hair. I went to an endocrinologist who said my hair was not thin, but she never saw me before and I know my own hair. My friends and my hairdresser recognized it. I do not want to take the pill and mess up my hormones. I have an appointment with a dermatologist soon to ask her what she thinks. What is causing this?
