hi jessica,

i'm not a doctor, just a regular girl, but your period does not stop in the water. it may be less noticeable because when the blood runs into the water it dilutes and is hard to see. i've always had a heavy-ish period, and i can tell you from experience that it does NOT stop in the bathtub. :) hope this helps you.
