Hi-

I'm due to get my period on the first day of my vacation, and am planning on skipping my period for this month. I'm on ortho tri-cyclen, and I know that with triphasic pills, there's a high occurence of spotting. I was wondering if skipping the last TWO weeks (Meaning that I would take the first fourteen pills of on pack, and then just start a new one) of a pack of pills would help with the spotting at all. Also, would this have any effect on the effectiveness of the pill? Thanks for any help

-Meg
