what do you think?

24 year old female, history of bladder infections and kidney stones (surgery about 1.5 mos. ago but no effect on period at that time) but otherwise healthy. Estimating an average 30 day cycle, ovulation would have taken place July 1 at the latest, more likely the last two days of JUne. Did not notice any of the usual ovulation symptoms during this time. Period due somwhere between July 14-16, has not started yet. Home preg. test on morning of July 11 (one of the very sensitive tests, used very concentrated urine) showed negative. Ovulation symptoms (breast tenderness/enlargement, bloating, increased eggwhite discharge but much less than usual) began on July 13; not unusual tohave ovulation symptoms near expected period. Blood pregnancy test taken early on July 14 showed negative; was having period-like cramps at this time, also not unusual before period. Discharge has stopped, all other symptoms have increased in severity but in general not TOO out of the ordinary EXCEPT it is lasting longer than usual. Period still has not come.

Given this information, what are the chances that the test results are reliable? I will retest again tomorrow or early next week but wanted to know your opinion since answers to "how early can you do a preg. test?" seem to vary from "6 or 7 days past conception" for blood to "only test two weeks after your missed period" for both types of test. So my other question is, how early canthe average woman ACCURATELY test for preg? I also read that it is fairly uncommon for pregnancy symptoms to start this early - true?
