sounds like I wrote this message. I have had a discharge problem for about 6 months. It started with burning and itching and discharge which I thought was yeast so i started with a cream which did not help. My doctor put me on an antibiotic which did nothing. I went to see her and when I told her the symptoms she said it was most likely Bacterial Vaginosis and put me on a medication which did not help so we tired another medication. I went to another doctor for a second opinion and the swab he did came back negative for BV but the culture showed I had a bacterial infection so we tried yet another pill and then another, needless to say, nothing has helped me. He wants to see me again soon for another test. My itching and burning went away but the discharge has not, its white or yellow and has a slight odor. I am not sexually active either. Believe me, I know how frustrated you feel. Lets pray we both find out what is going on.
