I have been having vaginal discharge for about 7 months now. At first the area around my vagina was also red and itching; I talked to my doctor and she said it was probably a yeast infection. I took Diflucan and used the external Monistat cream (I didn't want to tear my hymen with the suppositories), and the redness and itching went away. However, the discharge was still there. After a couple months (3-ish), the redness and itching (& burning) came back (when I got strep throat), and I took another Diflucan pill. The redness and itching haven't come back since. However, over the past two days my Labia Minora has swelled, and the area around my vulva has gotten quite irratable. I've made an appointment with my doctor, but she can't see me right away, and I'm not sure what to do. I really don't think it's a yeast infection anymore. I've never had sex so I don't think it's an STD. My periods are totally normal, there is no pain when I urinate, and the discharge is white to light brown. I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what the problem might be. I would really appreciate any answers at all. Thanx ^_^
