It's normal in the first two or three months on the pill to miss a period or bleed between periods, so it could just be your body adjusting. If you are still worried, wait a few days or a week and take another test. You'll probably get your period next month. If you're on the pill, you had to go to a doctor to get your prescription, so you should be able to call the doctor's office to ask a question (a phone call is free). Like I said before, you are very protected on the pill. If you miss a pill, though, you should use condoms for at least a week after. And if you will be constantly worried about getting pregnant anyway, you can use a second method (like condoms or spermicidal foam) to ease your mind, or reconsider having sex if you're not ready to handle the emotional stress.
