i am 18 and on loestrin 1.5 for 3 months now. before that i was on orthotricyclen LO for 3 months. i have not had my period once while on loestrin. during my cycle for about 3 days i spot. spotting is even too heavy for what i have. it's a little spot about the size of a quarter of brown gooey substance that shows up on my underwear once a day for about 3 days. and it never occurs at the same time. it can occur the first week, teh second week, or the third week. it is not accompanied by cramps or anything. then during the reminder pills i do not bleed nor do i have symptoms of a period. the last time i was sexually active was 2 months ago, and i took a pregnancy test which came out negative about 3 days after i had sex. is it normal for a birth control to make my period nonexistent? or do i have to stop taking it for my period to resume? or could i be pregnant?
