HPV and genital wartsFrom: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 28 Jun 2003 18:28:29 -0500 (CDT)
I have been taken aldara for four months now and my warts have not went away. I was diagnosed with these soon after I had my cone biospy done. I believe the surgery may have caused my decreased immune system. My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years. Neither of us have cheated. Is it possible that this laid dormant for 5-6 years? And what other treatments do you recommend? My warts are small in size but in one area there is like 10 small ones---this may help determine a method to use.Have you heard of anyone having luck with tree oil or vitamin e? I really want these to go away---it has been depressing for me because I have not had a lot of partners but have these issues to deal with. My hopes are that vaccines come out soon for warts and dysplasia. Have you heard about the development?
