I'm a 31 year old mother of two boys. I was diagnosed with stage 5 cervical cancer when I was pregnant with my first child back in 1989. I had a colposcopy done in 1992, a couple of months later I was pregnant with my second child and have had normal paps ever since giving birth in Dec. of 1993. However, I have not had normal periods since delivering my first child in Dec. of 1989. I have gone for a year or more at times without having any bleeding at all. I was told 3 yrs. ago that my uterus was enlarged and the doctor thought I may have been pregnant even though I had my tubes tied and burnt in 1993. An ultrasound showed several fibroids. Nothing was done or said about them again. I am now seeing another doctor who says that my uterus is enlarged and she had another ultrasound done to check the fibroids. There is only one and it isn't big enough to be causing the enlargement. I have an appt. with my doctor tomorrow and hopefully will get some information. If anyone has a similar situation and can shed any light on this, I'd appreciate it. Thank you. ----Melissa-------
