I am interested in switching birth control pills from Ortho TriCyclen to a monophasic pills in order to control my periods since this is best done on a monophasic pill. How would this be done, i.e. would I have to go off my pill for a month or two? Or would I take the last pill of a pack on Saturday like usual and then start a new pack of the monophasic pill on Sunday? Or would I just take that week and have my withdrawal period and then start the new pack the following week like I normally would? Thank you!!
