Misty, I don't know if you're still around on this forum, but I just saw your post. Not to sound stupid by stating the obvious, but have you tried taking 3 ibuprofen (200 mgs each). I get terrible cramps like you describe, but if I take three ibuprofen they completely go away. Ibuprofen acts not just as a pain reliever - it actually inhibits cramping. I didn't know this, so it took me a few years to figure out how to relieve my cramps. When I started the pill for birth control, I stopped getting cramps.
