Painful SexFrom: Danielle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Jun 2003 08:53:33 -0700 (PDT)
Hi Im 22, Im not on birth control and i have been in a commited relationship for the past 5 years. Eversince i stared having sex 5 years ago it has always been painful on the outside aw well as on the inside, no so much on the outside any more but its still uncomfortable on the inside. I also have a very low sex drive and i think it may be caused because sex hurts. I went to my Doctor for this about 2 1/2 years ago and he sent me to a gynocoligist. He said that i still had very small parts of my hymen left and i may have had microscopic warts, but he wouldnt know uless he took a scraping and he wanted to lazer off the hymen. He also said i was very tight. The examination from him was very painful and he also made me feel very uncomfortable so i asked my Doctor for a second opinion. I then went to another gynocoligist, she told me that there were no warts, that there was very little hymen that it shouldnt make a difference. She told me that my uterus was slightly tilted to one side and this was causing the pain and using differnt positions would solve my problem. Well i have done that and it still sex does not feel good. I have noticed that it is tilted and i use positions accordingly and the pains not so bad. I was wondering if there is anything else i can do to make sex more pleasureable and can anything be done about my sex drive. My Doctor told me to get self help books for my anxiety and that was it. My Finance says it dosent bother him that i dont want sex that much, but it bothers me and feels very unhealthy. Is there anything i can do? Thanks Danielle ===== ~*¤Ðåñîéllë¤*~ SBC Yahoo!
