2 Ovarian Cysts

Hi. I'm 19 years old and went to the GYN in May for very extreme bleeding lasting for 3 weeks at a time. She did an ultrasound and told me that I have a 2-3 cm cysts on each ovary. I'm going back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound to see if the cysts are still there or if they went away w/ the Depo Provera she started me on. My questions are: 1) is it normal practice to just wait it out and see what happens? 2) Does having 2 cysts, one on each ovary, cause any more concern than just having one cysts? I'm not worried about the cysts, but I would appreciate anyone's thoughts or insights. Thanks. ~Ashley
