But my question is- is there any way that my saliva from him >kissing me could have spread to my vagina - even if he didn't have a >cold sore? (P.S. he didn't contract a cold sore from me this time) > It is possible but i am not sure how likely it is. If you still had a sore at all then the possibility is higher as the virus can live on the skin - it could be on his lips too. If he didn't contract a cold sore from you (yet) then i wouldn't worry about it. Kepe an eye on yourself just to be sure, though. Try to be a bit more cautious next time, I would hate to hear that you contracted herpes down there too, that would be such an avoidable shame. Best wishes,
-- Lauren
