Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Brown-Reddish Discharge" I had my period about 2 weeks ago and a few days ago i had some spotting on my underwear. Once when i found a clump of brown blood. This happened last month and my doctor said that it was just excess blood. After last month, my period came exactly 28 days after i had spotted. Today i had mucus and a slight hint of blood in it. Should i be worried? I am not sexually active and my periods have been usually very regular. This has only happened two times. Also i have been taking some antibiotics. Could that also be a factor?
