Hi! I am hoping that you can help me. Ever since i began having sex (4 Months ago) i have been getting vaginal irritation - by this i mean slight itching, pain around the vaginal entrance, and it is red. The area around the vaginal entrance is very sensitive to touch. The odd thing is that this only happens around 2 days before my period and a few days after. I have been tested for std's and they were all negative. My partner, nor myself have ever been with anyone else. I am on birthcontrol and sex is always protected. I had a pap which came back with ASCUS, altho i had a yeast infection when it was done so perhaps this could have caused the result. I am very concerned as to what might be causing this vaginal irritation - i would assume since it comes and goes with my period that it is related to hormones or something, altho i have never had this until i started having sex. Do you have any ideas as to what this might be? It is really annoying and upsetting to me, i just want to have a normal vagina again!!! Any guidance is extremely appreciated.
