Frequent Urination and the shot...Coincidence???

I'm 20 years old, and have been on Depo Provera since January 6th, 2003. About a month after taking the shot, I started urinating frequently (between 10-20 times a day). My family doctor treated me for a urinary tract infection, to which the medicine did nothing for the symptoms. A month later, I asked to be refered to a urologist. On May 13th, I went to the hospital for a cystoscopy and uretheral dialation. At the follow up visit with the urologist, he told me I had a thickening bladder, and put me on Ditropan, saying there was nothing more he could do, and that it could possibly be a nerve. I have had no car accidents or anything traumatic happen to me in 10 years. I've never had problems with urinary tract infections or pain while urinating, so the only thing I can link to the frequent urination is the Depo. If there is a possibility that it is the Depo, should I be worried about further damage to my bladder or other parts, and can I expect a full return to normalcy when the effects wear off in time? I have gained no weight with the Depo, but I have noticed other popular side effects with the shot. ANY comments and advice would be greatly appreciated...
