changing starting day of pillFrom: MR (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 26 May 2003 19:55:05 -0500 (CDT)
I have been taking birth control for 2 years. Two months ago I stopped them for a month because of insurance problems. I began taking them the following month in which my doctor told me to start the pill on the fifth day of my period. I had started my period on the Sunday prior to my visit. The doctors visit was on the following Friday in which he he said i should take two pills that day and continue the pack. However, since i had always been a Sunday starter it got confusing and the following month i began taking the pill instead of Thursday...Sunday. For the past 2 months I have been starting my pills on Sunday. I have been using back up protection methods because i'm not sure if i am safe switching days from one month to another. Am I safe now?
