Hi- I'm 19 & have lived my life around doctors & hospitals due to many medical problems. My mom has ALWAYS come to the docs w/ me. Now, I'm having period problems which is leading to anemia. I went to the gyn in March because of this. Of course my mom was with me. Since then I have been to the gyn every 6 wks. to figure things out, & every time, my mom is w/ me. I would feel more comfortable talking about things if my mom weren't there. I am a virgin & have nothing to hide from her, I just feel weird w/ her there. My question is, do any of you mothers have a way in which I could explain this to her without her feelings being hurt? The last thing I want to do is make her feel unwanted or unneeded because that's not the case at all. I have another appt. in 6 weeks and want to let my mom know how I feel. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance. ~Ashley
