I'm currently 21 yrs old and for the past 2 years i've had a big problem with my periods.I will bleed for months on end.The longest i've bleed is 4 months straight.I also have unbearable pain,and its caused me to be severly anemic.I even had to be put on iron infusions.Most of the time i'm bleeding so bad that I have to change pads every 30 minutes because they are soaked.I'll bleed 2 months stop 2 weeks then bleed 3 months and stop for 2 months then bleed 4 months and so on.And this isnt just weekly bleeding,its 24 hour a day every day.I've been to several doctors and had test done including a d&c and a ultrasound but they tell me everything is fine.That is probably hormonal.So i've been on several birth control pills and hormone pills but nothing works.And all i get told is to try some new medicine and come back in 3 months.I'm at my wits end,i'm thinking of just having everything removed, and i just dont know what it could be or what to do or tell my doctor.Any advice at this point would be greatly appreciated.
