Lapidus M.D.: "Re: brown discharge" i am 23 and for the past several (4-5) months durring my period i have been having a gooey, chunky, dark brown discharge instead of a normal bright red period. i am on the pill, and have on occasion forgotten to take it at the same time every day, or even missed a day. i have only recently developed a moderate itiching and burning sensation. when all this started i was sexually active but no penitration occured. i have yet to find any answers to what this brown discharge instead of a normal bright red period could be. please help im very concerned as to what this could be...
