I would try using playtex slimfits tampons in lite. They're about the size of a pinkie finger, or a ring finger at the biggest. I have pain inserting tampons too, and i find these ones much easier to use. Since they're small, you need to change them more often, about every3/4 hours, but it's worth it...anyhting is better than a pad which is more like a diaper!!! You should try to bend over while putting it in. Insert it until the rim(the part where you hold - where the push part of the applicator starts) and then bend down so that it aims in the right place (just bend the top half of your body - aim your head to the floor) and push. It should go in easier this way. If this still doesn't work, see your doctor because you may have a medical problem. Best of luck to you, sincerely,
-- Lauren
