Hey Mandy, It's awesome to hear that you're responsible. It's incredible the amount of irresponsible people who post on this page who complain about pregnancies yet do nothing to prevent them. That's pretty much as safe as you can get. BCP's are about 98/99% effective, same with condoms. If the condom breaks, you still have a backup. You're being very smart. I am doing the exact same thing. I have a friend who became pregnant just from sex and being on only the pill, so we always use condoms as well. YOu could try spermicide or a spermicidal condom for a third means, but i truly do not believe that it is necessary and it may cause yeast infections. Make sure to take your pills at the same time every day, and have fun because you're responsible and that's awesome.

Furthermore, there'es probably a bigger chance of getting pregnant while just 'fooling around' without being on the pill or whatever than there is from having sex whil eon the pill and using a condom. I wouldn't worry about it
