I have been on the birth control patch for 3 weeks and have been having psycho mood swings, mostly very crabby or bawling my eyes out. I am a normal girl that has different moods, but this is out of control. I have tried ortho novum and yasmin but same thing. I have heard about the mini-pill that does not contain estogen. Would this form of birth control help me not have such crazy spells? I am trying birth control in order to prevent any surprises that my boyfriend and I are not ready for, but on my current path, I will be losing that boyfriend if I keep having these episodes!! Help!
