Hi Lacy. It could be some kinda of std...but if there's no itchyness or discharge that would rule out alot of stds or even bacterial vaginosis. Get tested just incase. if tests are all negative, it could just be your natural smell. Try using a PH balanced body wash down there like Johnson's pH balanced 5.5 body wash. It balances out the ph of the vagina and will keep it much fresher longer and will make a huge difference in the smell. If there's a high Ph then bacteria form and multiply much quicker. Certain bodywashes like herbal escences etc have super high pH's like 13!!!!! That's way too high and can account for bad smells. I am not sure of the PH of dove soap, but i know that it is mild, altho it smells kinda funny. See your doc first to rule out infectious or dangerous reasons for the smell, if tests are fine try ph.
