Someone please help me!! I went to the doctor about a year ago, twice. I had this terrible smelly discharge, with some itching and burning for the first couple of days. He diagnosed it as Vaginitis/Vulvitis on the paper I received at the office. He prescribed some antibiotics, and the second time I went he gave me Diflucan. It went away for about a month, and it came back. It is still here. It has a cycle in a way. About 2 or 3 days before my period all of the problems go away. After my period is over, it comes back in full force. The itchiness is only around for about a week, then it's just the odor and discharge that stick around. I use unscented tampons, and no birth control pills. What can be the problem, and how do I fix it? I would hate to go back to the doctor to just get diflucan if it doesn't work. What will work for me? PLease help, I hate this, and I am so worried that this may affect my ability to have children later.
