I recently lost my virginity and didn't bleed until the sixth or seventh time. There was something like a tiny piece of skin on the condom, and sex didn't hurt after that. I assumed it was my hymen, although I would have thought the first time (which was painful) would have broken it. The bleeding quit in a day. I ordered the keeper (menstrual cup) and tried it even though I was not on my period (this was about four days after the time I bled during sex). I started bleeding again. It's a little like period blood, but more red. I skipped the placebo week of birth control pills to avoid my period and were using condoms as birth control because I wasn't sure I was still protected when skipping placebos. Could it still be my hymen or could it be breakthrough bleeding from skipping my period? It isn't painful, maybe a little cramp-y like my period, but I would have gotten it last week if I had taken the placebos. Thanks.
