It is possible that you're allergic to latex, maybe and that's why condoms are irritating for you. Try non-latex condoms. If you have been battling with this infection, and still having unprotected sex, it's possible that your partner is passing it back and forth to you. Men can carry this bacteria under their foreskin, or inside the tip of thier penis. He should be treated and you should use condoms to prevent this. Furthermore, you should let your vagina heal for a bit before having sex again. This is because you may think that condom are irritating yiou, when really it's just because you haven't had adequate healing time.

Best of luck, Lauren.
