No Period for 3 years

I am a college student and have not had a period for 3 years. I know in a couple of years I want to have children. Is it dangerous not to be having a period for this long amount of time? I have had many test done (blood work, ultrasound, and biopsy) and have not come up with a diagnosis. I have been on many hormones and nothing seems to work. My doctor is thinking I am having a cycle, but the blood is going to my fallopian tubes. Is this possible? Please help if you have any advice or information for me. Thank you.
