Hi, Im presently on birth control...alysse.. in the past few months my periods have been very very scant. They last about 3-4 days but practically dont even need a pad for protection.. a mini pad isnt even soiled much. My last period i had again a scant amount and then on the 4th day i had passed about 4 dark blood clots like after delivery of a baby but small the size of a quarter. Then i flowed a bit more for that day and that was it. Im concerned about this and took a urine preg test which was negative ( and i didnt miss any pills). Could this clotting be indicative of any problem. If so what is possible. I also have a slight rectocele..i believe it is called that was brought to my attention after the birht of my child 2 yrs ago and was told it could be fixed at some point if needed. Could it be causing a block in the uterine flow. THanks for any info on causes.. i will at some point check with the doc
