I recently found that i had a strange bump on my labia minora (right side). It grew over a few days... and when it started getting red and tender, I went to my gyn. She said that it could be a cyst and recommemded warm compresses since I don't have a bath tub. This has not helped, however, and now it seems to be filling with white stuff. She told me not to pop it. My question is, how long should I continue the warm compresses before going in again. I'm really worried that it could be cancerous. What can a doctor do about this, and what would the procedures involve?

I am 23, sexually active, have had frequent yeast infections and a few bladder infections but generally healthy, although somewhat a stressed-out student.
