Previous message: Anonymous1: "Re: question about cycle length" I previously took Depro Provera for a year; however, the side effects were so horrendous that I found it necessary to stop the shots. However, I have learned that the body may not fully "recover" from all the hormone changes caused by Depo Provera for possibly 18 months. I know that Depro Provera uses a synthetic form of Progesterone, which causes definiciencies in Progesterone; I recently heard that a natural Progesterone creme will fix the hormone balance and even has other beneficial effects (as long as used properly.) Could a doctor please give my more info about this possibility-specifically, should this be a method I should use to recover from Depo Provera? Thanks so much.
