Any help from anyone would be appreciated! >~Amanda-Lyn~ Amanda, I don't know who told you it is "psychologically unsafe" to have the same Dr. as your mother, but that is very wrong! I used the same GYN as my mother (In fact, I was seeing him prior to her). I just had a talk with him to make sure that my care and her care were totally separate and my name would not come up. Of course, he did assure me of this, and he never once mentioned my name.
If you want to see this Dr. that your Mom will be seeing,then by all
means, do so. It is certainly safe..physically and psychologically!
